I just dont seem to be in the grove.

Ever since we got back from vacation I have struggled to get my grove back! I just seem to be out of sink with my own life. It took two weeks just to get back to a somewhat normal schedule. My laundry is worse than ever. I need a haircut and so do my children. My yard is horrible and the house needs a good cleaning.

I am determined to work really hard the entire month of October. I really need to get my house/life back in order. I miss my seasonal decor changes. I miss having clean clothes. And I really miss time with my friends.

So I am setting a goal for myself. The holiday season is going to be a time of renewal. I want to enjoy my family and my home. I want to spend more quality time with my friends. I plan to start a Bible study. I know what you are thinking.... Lorrie really NEEDS to add one more activity to her list. But, I have been trying to pray a lot more lately. God is showing me that if I don't make time for Him, how can I expect to have time for anything else. Pray for me as I enter this new endeavour. I need it!!
