Dr. Seuss' Horton Hears a Who

Today has been a great day. We got back to our studies. Last week was a loss as far as lessons were concerned. With testing and illnesses there wasn't much time left to do our school work. But we are back on track and things are going well. We started making our log cabin for our unit study class on Little House on the Prairie. I will post pictures of our cabin when we get it completed.



After school we cleaned house ate a late lunch and headed for the mall. We met Kora, Lloyd and Hunter at the mall to watch "Dr. Seuss' Horton Hears a Who." The theatre was empty so we had the whole place to ourselves. What fun!!! The movie is a little slow at times but overall it is a great family movie. After the movie we ventured into the mall for some dinner (I guess you can call it that.) Then a little shopping. We had a great time. We always enjoy being with Kora and her family. They are so much fun.



Yes, I realize that this blog has become more of a journal than a venue for self discovery. Who knows maybe by documenting my life I will learn a little about myself. What better way to understand what my hearts desire is than to understand who I am. I am beginning realize that my hearts desire is to be exactly where I am. Otherwise why would I be here. I and I alone make the choices in my life. The amount of influence others have in my life is totally controlled by the amount of importance I place on them. I am ultimately responsible for who and what I allow in my life and to what extent. That being said, I think I am going to make a few changes. I am going to take charge of a few things in my life. I will let you know how that goes.
