Withdrawel

This is the first time that I have gone two days without posting to my blog. It is possible that I am in withdrawal. I really depend on this venue to help me vent and refocus myself. It is truly a therapeutic activity for me.

We have had a fairly relaxed weekend. Elijah competed (it was really play) in the AWANA games and Grace had a Suzuki Piano Audition on Saturday Morning. We came home and worked on the garage and cooked a big supper. I worked on getting things ready for my classes next week while Grace and Fred went to rent movies. That night we watched movies took baths and got everything ready for church.

Sunday came (my favorite ya know) and we got up, got ready and headed out for church. We had every intention of trying out a new church...but we ended up back at Grace. I am really going to have to pray hard about this situation. We truly need a church where we can feel at home. After church we went out to eat and to Mom and Dads'. We stopped at Goody's to look for Easter outfits on the way home. We were not successful at that endeavour. We came home picked up the house a little and I went to the grocery store. Now we are waiting on Kathryn and Caleb to come over. I am looking forward to playing Rook.

That was pretty much our weekend in a nutshell. Oh for those who asked, Grace received a "superior" rating at her audition. Which is the best rating you can get. We are so proud of her!!!! She is learning that hard work really does pay off. I am so thankful for her and how much she means to our family. She truly is a blessing. I pray that she remains diligent in all she does and that everything she does be for the glory of God.

Today's Scripture
Colossians 3:23 Whatever you do, do your work heartily, as for the Lord rather than for men
