It"s Friday

It's Friday!!!! The weekend is almost here. Unfortunately, it is suppose to rain the majority of the weekend. I was planning to mulch and plant flowers in the yard this weekend. I guess that will have to go on hold for a couple of weeks considering next weekend is Easter. I guess it is true that "The best-laid plans of mice and men often go awry."

Since things change ever so quickly I am not sure what the weekend holds in store. Elijah has baseball practice tonight and tomorrow. Those will probably be rescheduled for next week. He also has a swim skills test at 9:00 in the morning. UUGGG. I don't do mornings very well. I am very proud of how well he is doing in his swim clinic though. He tested last night in the freestyle. Tomorrows test is for the backstroke. He will then test in a couple of weeks on the butterfly and breast stroke. He is doing amazingly well. He loves being in the water and it is great exercise for him. After testing it is anybodies' game. Who knows what we will get into next?!?!

Sometimes the unexpected or the spontaneous times are the best. Whatever comes up this weekend I plan on enjoying myself and having a good time. There is definitely something to be said for living in the moment.
