To all those who have been asking....No I didn't forget to blog. I just felt that somehow the dead cat said it all. There just didn't seem that there was anything left to say after that. But a few days have past. My running commentary on the world at large will go on........
I thought I would begin by catching everyone up. This week has been extremely busy and extremely fun. Monday started off with the usual crossing guard, school, and dance. We all spent the evening together eating dinner at home and watching a movie. It was a nice evening. Tuesday (crazy day) began as normal . It started with crossing guard, school, dance and then we were off to dinner with friends and then to the zoo. The kids really enjoyed the "toadally frogs" exhibit. Zion really enjoyed himself. He was very excited to see the zebras and the elephants. He is such joy to be with. He is all smiles and his excitement level is contagious. We had a great time. Kora and Hunt were at the zoo as well. We are so glad they are back in town. We really missed them. After the zoo we left for baseball practice and then to swim clinic at the YMCA. While Elijah swam the kids played in the playroom and Grace and I worked out. It was a really good day.Wednesday was equally busy and exciting. The morning was fairly routine. In the afternoon we went skating and then to dinner with my in laws. After dinner was church. Wednesday night was the pine derby. And one of our cars (Grace's as usual) won a trophy for the 4th year in a row. We were very pumped up about that. The kids grand parents came to watch them race so everyone was proud to show off there cars.
So as you can see these past few days have been very .....well, FULL. Full of work, play, joy, excitement, and love. And in the end what more could we ask for than to live life to its fullest everyday.
Today's Scripture
These things I have spoken to you, that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be full. John 15:7
