Not great but good.

I know, it has been a while. I have been really sick and basically in the bed for two days. However I am feeling much better today and I am ready to face the world. It has been a busy week. We didn't do school this week and there was no crossing guard but it was busy none the less.

Tuesday was basically a repeat of Monday. The kids did another day of testing and then it was off to the zoo again. That's about the time I began to feel sick. The zoo was really crowded. We buddied up with the Sodonis and Hunley family while we were there. Then met up with Melissa Wholford and the girls. The kids had a great time. They really enjoyed being with there friends. By the time we left the zoo around 2:30 I felt horrible. My throat was sore and my head was hurting. I went home and went to bed. I remained there until the next morning. I ran a fever of 103 and felt absolutely drained.

Wednesday morning I got up and took the kids for testing and went to the Doctor. He really wasn't sure what was wrong other than the fact that my tonsils were completely infected and engorged. He put me on three different medicines and total fluids for twenty four hours. Sooooo....I went home and went back to bed where I remained until this morning.

AAHHH, Thursday!! I feel much better. Not great but good. I am so grateful. I am hoping to salvage what is left of this Spring break. I will let you know how that turns out. For today I am just so grateful to be feeling better. God is so Good.
